Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Jarmo Kokko took the kick off in the first half of the match. Herman Uotila walked up to take care of the penalty kick. He was aiming for the top corner, but the ball went just outside the post. 14 minutes into the game, Tero Äijälä was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Härjänvatsa IFK's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Parpola the free kick. 16 minutes into the match, Parpola's goal looked a bit too open when Veikko Hautaoja came free, but Raimo Sulku reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Taisto Tukio's late challenge caught a Parpola's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Taisto Tukio helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Härjänvatsa IFK getting a freekick after 18 minutes play. Taisto Tukio hit a great ball. Raimo Sulku took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Veikko Hautaoja, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 27thth minute of the game Eero Kärki who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Parpola's Raimo Sulku was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. When Arvo Saarela fell near the penalty area in the 30th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Parpola's protests and gave Arvo Saarela a yellow card for diving instead. Antero Nikko shot the penalty kick by force right in the crossbar. No goal. Rauli Eerola's late challenge caught a Härjänvatsa IFK's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Rauli Eerola helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Parpola's Rauli Eerola got a free kick in the 33rd minute. Raimo Sulku didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when Härjänvatsa IFK's Tero Äijälä shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 0-1 in the ordered_time% minute. Eero Kärki received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 42nd minute. Raimo Sulku tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 43 minutes in the game, Tero Äijälä dribbled his way through the penalty area and after maneuvering past an opponent, drilled a quick shot at the goal. The ball looked like it was going in, but it was hit a bit too hard and flew over the goal. After the first half Härjänvatsa IFK were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The wind increased when Tero Äijälä made the kick off in the second half. Eemil Viisala stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Jarmo Kokko's shot from short distance in the 55th minute. After 56 played minutes Härjänvatsa IFK got a freekick which was hit by Veikko Hautaoja. Raimo Sulku showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ari Sillgren in the 59th minute of the match. If Tero Äijälä had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Tero Äijälä received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 61st minute. Raimo Sulku tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 64th match minute, Parpola was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Arvo Saarela to maneuver through the defense. A hard shot 72 in the game by Tero Äijälä from a close distance when the talented Raimo Sulku managed to make a qualified save. Parpola's players were relieved. In the 75th minute, Veikko Hautaoja got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Eevert Ruutu kicked well hit freekick during the 76th minute of the match. In a very dangerous position, a player in Härjänvatsa IFK fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 79th minute. Penalty! Eemil Viisala came out of the goal in the 81st minute to try and stop a shot by Parpola's Herman Uotila. But to his dismay, Herman Uotila quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. After a rather tough play, Parpola's Eetu Törmänen got a free kick in the 85th minute. Tero Äijäläs short, quick shot in the 87thth minute got Raimo Sulku to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Tero Äijälä in the 89th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Raimo Sulku prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Eevert Ruutu hit a great freekick 89 minutes into the match. Tero Äijälä recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 92nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal.
