Spectators: 8432 (Terracing: 6325, Seating: 1939, VIP seats: 168) Iikka Metsberg recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 2nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The supporters of FC Jazz booed when Påvadsby FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 4 match minutes in a wonderful position. Terho Kesä didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 5th minute, Jani Hernesniemi got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When Jani Hernesniemi came up free with the goalie in the 7th minute, the FC Jazz fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jani Hernesniemi couldn't finish the play. In the 8th minute, Silvo Sillanpää ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Oiva Paappanen was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. In the 13th match minute, FC Jazz was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sakari Ahmaoja to maneuver through the defense. Oiva Paappanen made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Iikka Metsberg in the 14th minute of play. Oiva Paappanen came out of the goal in the 15th minute to try and stop a shot by Påvadsby FC's Ossi Mikkonen. But to his dismay, Ossi Mikkonen quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. In the 23rd minute, Iikka Metsberg left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Påvadsby FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-4. Oiva Paappanen took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Silvo Sillanpää, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Oiva Paappanen came out of the goal in the 31st minute to try and stop a shot by Påvadsby FC's Ossi Mikkonen. But to his dismay, Ossi Mikkonen quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-5. An unexpectedly hard shot by Iikka Metsberg in the 34th minute of play forced FC Jazz's goalkeeper Oiva Paappanen to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Valio Kiviranta might have been able to make a better finish in the 36th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Wojciech Szczęsny. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Valio Kiviranta ran back to his position shaking his head. 39 minutes into the match, Ossi Mikkonen had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Oiva Paappanen. FC Jazz's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Ossi Mikkonen was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-6. Terho Kesä hit a great freekick 43 minutes into the match. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-6 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Oiva Paappanen was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Iikka Metsberg showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-7 in the 52 minute of play. Terho Kesä came free with the goalkeeper in the 55th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Oiva Paappanen could save by the left post. A collision led to FC Jazz getting a freekick after 57 minutes play. Jarkko Lääkkö hit a great ball. In the 58th minute of the match Terho Kesä sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Oiva Paappanen skillfully saved the ball. Oiva Paappanen showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Iikka Metsberg, who was totally free with the ball in the 61st minute. FC Jazz's Oiva Paappanen played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ossi Mikkonen in the 62nd minute of play. In the 64th minute, Terho Kesä ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Oiva Paappanen was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-8. Oiva Paappanen made a fantastic save in the 68th minute, when Terho Kesä sent off a good shot on target. After some fancy dribbling in the 70th minute, Terho Kesä managed to get in a good position for a shot. Påvadsby FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Terho Kesä was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Oiva Paappanen breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Oiva Paappanen made a fantastic save in the 73rd minute, when Silvo Sillanpää sent off a good shot on target. Oiva Paappanen made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ossi Mikkonen in the 74th minute of play. Ossi Mikkonen could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 76th minute of the match, but Oiva Paappanen made a huge save. Ossi Mikkonen received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Oiva Paappanen came out and tried to block the shot, but Ossi Mikkonen slotted it home off the left post making it 0-9 in the 79th minute. With a little luck, FC Jazz's Oiva Paappanen got control of the ball when Terho Kesä tried to sneak it across the goal line. After 89 played minutes Påvadsby FC got a freekick which was hit by Markku Kangasniemi. Oiva Paappanen was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Iikka Metsberg showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-10 in the 94 minute of play. When the final whistle sounded Påvadsby FC left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than FC Jazz.
