The supporters of FC KANKKU booed when PR Merkkausvirhe was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 2 match minutes in a wonderful position. Joakim Lumme didn't get a good kick on the ball. The referee showed Joakim Lumme the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 7 played minutes PR Merkkausvirhe got a freekick which was hit by Joakim Lumme. With a little luck, PR Merkkausvirhe's Akseli Sulku got control of the ball when Iiro Heinikallio tried to sneak it across the goal line. A collision led to PR Merkkausvirhe getting a freekick after 10 minutes play. Jyri Etula hit a great ball. Bogdan Marchefka blasted a shot towards the goal in the 14th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Akseli Sulku having to make a save. Adriano Perna recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 24th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Joakim Lumme kicked well hit freekick during the 30th minute of the match. In the 32nd minute, PR Merkkausvirhe's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Iiro Heinikallio fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Adriano Perna fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Akseli Sulku having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 41st minute, Bogdan Marchefka managed to get in a good position for a shot. FC KANKKU's supporters rose to their feet, but Bogdan Marchefka was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Akseli Sulku breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Adriano Perna in the 45th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Akseli Sulku saved PR Merkkausvirhe from getting behind. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Joakim Lumme was the one to do the kick off. Iiro Heinikallio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 51st minute. Akseli Sulku tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bogdan Marchefka in the 53rd minute of play forced PR Merkkausvirhe's goalkeeper Akseli Sulku to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 54 minutes had been played when some careless play by PR Merkkausvirhe's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Adriano Perna was slow to take the kick. During this time FC KANKKU's players had a chance to rest. After taking down the ball on FC KANKKU's corner Adriano Perna fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Akseli Sulku quite easily take care of the ball. Adriano Perna sent away a hard shot on goal in the 55th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Bogdan Marchefka struck a weak shot in the 57th minute. Akseli Sulku didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for FC KANKKU. PR Merkkausvirhe's Akseli Sulku played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Adriano Perna in the 58th minute of play. 60 minutes into the match, PR Merkkausvirhe's goal looked a bit too open when Bogdan Marchefka came free, but Akseli Sulku reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 62nd match minute, PR Merkkausvirhe was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tommi Palo to maneuver through the defense. Adriano Perna recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 65th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Adriano Perna fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 68th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Akseli Sulku having to interfere. Adriano Perna took the ball and in the 78 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Akseli Sulku. Akseli Sulku dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. 82 minutes into the match, FC KANKKU's goalkeeper Guillermo Beila had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Joakim Lumme. Akseli Sulku showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Adriano Perna in the 91st minute of the match. In the 92nd minute, Jyri Etula got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. FC KANKKU had played much better football throughout.
