Spectators: 8460 (Terracing: 6346, Seating: 1945, VIP seats: 169) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Niko Lehto made the kick off which started today's match. In the 6th minute, Tommi Palo left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The PR Merkkausvirhe fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-0. When Jyri Etula came up free with the goalie in the 9th minute, the PR Merkkausvirhe fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jyri Etula couldn't finish the play. In the 14th minute, Rami Hati got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Ajax's Lauri Markkanen played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jyri Etula in the 18th minute of play. In the 22nd match minute, Ajax was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Niko Lehto to maneuver through the defense. Joakim Lumme received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 23rd minute. Lauri Markkanen tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. PR Merkkausvirhe's Joakim Lumme came free and shot a quick shot against goal 25 minutes in the game, fortunately Lauri Markkanen had problems saving as it came toward the left post. The audience thought a goal was coming when Joakim Lumme got free with Lauri Markkanen in the 30th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Tommi Palo kicked well hit freekick during the 35th minute of the match. With his leg Lauri Markkanen managed to avoid a goal in the 38thth minute, when PR Merkkausvirhe's Joakim Lumme fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. 41 minutes into the match, Ajax's goal looked a bit too open when Jyri Etula came free, but Lauri Markkanen reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jyri Etula did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 3-0 to the left of a surprised Lauri Markkanen 42 minutes into the match. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-0 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Joakim Lumme to strike the kick off in the second half. Joakim Lumme took the ball and in the 57 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Lauri Markkanen. Lauri Markkanen dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-0. After a rather tough play, Ajax's Niko Lehto got a free kick in the 63rd minute. 64 minutes into the match, Ajax's goal looked a bit too open when Jyri Etula came free, but Lauri Markkanen reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Joakim Lumme in the 65th minute of play forced Ajax's goalkeeper Lauri Markkanen to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to Ajax getting a freekick after 66 minutes play. Niko Lehto hit a great ball. Lauri Markkanen took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jyri Etula, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 69th match minute, Ajax was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Niko Lehto to maneuver through the defense. Jyri Etula received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 70th minute. Lauri Markkanen tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. PR Merkkausvirhe's Akseli Sulku played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rami Hati in the 73rd minute of play. The supporters of Ajax booed when PR Merkkausvirhe was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 74 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tommi Palo didn't get a good kick on the ball. Aarno Jukkola struck a weak shot in the 75th minute. Akseli Sulku didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ajax. Niko Lehto recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 79th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Lauri Markkanen showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Joakim Lumme in the 84th minute of the match. 86 minutes into the match, Ajax's goal looked a bit too open when Joakim Lumme came free, but Lauri Markkanen reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. PR Merkkausvirhe's Akseli Sulku proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 87th minute of the match, managed to save PR Merkkausvirhe from getting a goal against them. An unexpectedly hard shot by Joakim Lumme in the 89th minute of play forced Ajax's goalkeeper Lauri Markkanen to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Joakim Lumme had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Olavi Jussila kicked well hit freekick during the 94th minute of the match. When Jyri Etula came up free with the goalie in the 95th minute, the PR Merkkausvirhe fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jyri Etula couldn't finish the play. Ajax's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
