The audience was convinced that Joakim Lumme's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Vilho Oinas was relentless in the 32nd minute of the game. The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Urmas Nikander to strike the kick off in the second half. Jyri Etula was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 58th minute. PR Merkkausvirhe's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. Jyri Etula's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Vilho Oinas read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 62nd minute of play. Joakim Lumme might have been able to make a better finish in the 64th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Vilho Oinas. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Joakim Lumme ran back to his position shaking his head. A throw-in in the 69th minute of the game was made by Joonas Pärssinen with Jyri Etula as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. Jyri Etula hit a great freekick 70 minutes into the match. 72 minutes into the match, Riiteovaara's goalkeeper Vilho Oinas had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Joakim Lumme. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-6 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. The Riiteovaara supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching PR Merkkausvirhe's performance. The match ended with a win for PR Merkkausvirhe.
