The Härjänvatsa IFK fans' excitement grew in the 13th match minute when Härjänvatsa IFK's Tero Äijälä looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Lauri Markkanen showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Veikko Hautaoja in the 17th minute of the match. In the 18th minute, Sulevi Saastamoinen hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 19th minute, Tero Äijälä left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Härjänvatsa IFK fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-3. When the match had gone on for 24 minutes, Tero Äijälä put it in 0-4 from a short distance just to the right of Lauri Markkanen. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Tero Äijälä stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After recieving a nice pass, Ajax's Aarno Jukkola tried to score from far away in the 84th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Taisto Tukio charged in rather forcefully in the 86th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Taisto Tukio the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 87th minute of the match Aarno Jukkola shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Eemil Viisala showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. A collision led to Ajax getting a freekick after 89 minutes play. Niko Lehto hit a great ball. Tero Äijälä who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 91stth minute tested the skills of Lauri Markkanen when he managed to save the team from getting behind. After a rather tough play, Härjänvatsa IFK's Kosti Pajula got a free kick in the 94th minute. Tero Äijälä in the 96thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Lauri Markkanen, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Härjänvatsa IFK's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
