Petri Helenius showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Janne Multaharju in the 7th minute of the match. 10 minutes into the match, Koskelankylä IFK's goalkeeper Seppo Halonen had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Joonas Norrena. Petri Helenius showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Kaarlo Viisala, who was totally free with the ball in the 11th minute. Joonas Norrena kicked well hit freekick during the 12th minute of the match. Kaarlo Viisala recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 20th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Mikael Pentsinen kicked well hit freekick during the 24th minute of the match. 28 minutes into the match, Lähdekylä's goal looked a bit too open when Kaarlo Viisala came free, but Petri Helenius reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Marko Viljanens short, quick shot in the 30thth minute got Seppo Halonen to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hannes Palolahti in the 31st minute of play forced Koskelankylä IFK's goalkeeper Seppo Halonen to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Lähdekylä's zone, Paul Nutikka stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Petri Helenius came out of the goal and Paul Nutikka tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After a rather tough play, Lähdekylä's Joonas Norrena got a free kick in the 36th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Marko Viljanen in the 38th minute of play forced Koskelankylä IFK's goalkeeper Seppo Halonen to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Hannes Palolahti received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 42nd minute. Seppo Halonen tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Koskelankylä IFK were furious when Aappo Asukka was red carded, 47 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. Aappo Asukka hit a great freekick 48 minutes into the match. 49 minutes into the game Jouni Petsamo kicked a great long shot which passed Seppo Halonen straight ahead into the goal, Result 1-1. One couldn't see Jouni Petsamo behind all of his teammates who surrounded to congratulate him. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The wind increased when Marko Viljanen made the kick off in the second half. After 60 played minutes Koskelankylä IFK got a freekick which was hit by Kaarlo Viisala. Seppo Halonen showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hannes Palolahti in the 62nd minute of the match. Paul Nutikka fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 63rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Petri Helenius having to interfere. 67 minutes into the match, Hannes Palolahti had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Seppo Halonen. Koskelankylä IFK's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Hannes Palolahti was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-1. In the 69th minute, Joonas Norrena hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The supporters of Lähdekylä booed when Koskelankylä IFK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 73 match minutes in a wonderful position. Kaarlo Viisala didn't get a good kick on the ball. Karri Peltonen kicked well hit freekick during the 77th minute of the match. Jouni Petsamo was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 78th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Ylermi Multaharju fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 80th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Petri Helenius having to interfere. Iisakki Saksinen's late challenge caught a Koskelankylä IFK's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Iisakki Saksinen helped the player get up and apologised. Iisakki Saksinen kicked well hit freekick during the 82nd minute of the match. In the 88th minute the ball was on its way in behind Lähdekylä's goalkeeper Petri Helenius, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. When the match had gone on for 89 minutes, Marko Viljanen put it in 3-1 from a short distance just to the right of Seppo Halonen. When Marko Viljanen fell near the penalty area in the 92nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Lähdekylä's protests and gave Marko Viljanen a yellow card for diving instead. In the 93rd match minute, Lähdekylä was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Marko Viljanen to maneuver through the defense. Hannes Palolahti fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Seppo Halonen having to interfere. Teemu Koivisto hit a great freekick 96 minutes into the match. After a defensive mix-up in Koskelankylä IFK's zone, Hannes Palolahti stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Seppo Halonen came out of the goal and Hannes Palolahti tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The home crowd let out a huge roar when the referee blew for the end of the game. Lähdekylä were victorious despite being under pressure from Koskelankylä IFK for much of the match.
