Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Saku Hakanen took the kick off in the first half of the match. Lähdekylä's Marko Viljanen got a good chance for a goal in the 3rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Marko Viljanen in the 8th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Aatos Oksa saved Himik FC from getting behind. Alvi Kokkonen hit a great freekick 10 minutes into the match. Alvi Kokkonen kicked well hit freekick during the 11th minute of the match. Jouni Petsamo was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 12th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Aatos Oksa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Marko Viljanen in the 13th minute of play. 14 minutes into the game, Hannes Palolahti recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Aatos Oksa. Hannes Palolahti showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. 21 minutes into the match, Himik FC's Raine Kärkkäinen sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Petri Helenius narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 23rd minute of the match Himik FC got a corner. Lähdekylä's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Usko Pisto ran over to the corner to take the kick. Lähdekylä's Hannes Palolahti got a good chance for a goal in the 24th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 26th minute, Marko Viljanen got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 36th minute, Marko Viljanen managed to get in a good position for a shot. Lähdekylä's supporters rose to their feet, but Marko Viljanen was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Aatos Oksa breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Hannes Palolahti was extremely unlucky when he, in the 37th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. Aatos Oksa stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Marko Viljanen's shot from short distance in the 39th minute. 40 minutes into the game, Alvi Kokkonen was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Himik FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Lähdekylä the free kick. After a rather tough play, Himik FC's Alvi Kokkonen got a free kick in the 40th minute. 46 minutes into the match, Himik FC's goalkeeper Aatos Oksa had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Hannes Palolahti. After some fancy dribbling in the 48th minute, Marko Viljanen managed to get in a good position for a shot. Lähdekylä's supporters rose to their feet, but Marko Viljanen was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Aatos Oksa breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

Marko Viljanen sent away a hard shot on goal in the 52nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After 61 played minutes Lähdekylä got a freekick which was hit by Torsti Vihtilä. Raine Kärkkäinen could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 63rd minute of the match, but Petri Helenius made a huge save. Hannes Palolahti sent away a hard shot on goal in the 76th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Marko Viljanen received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 78th minute. Aatos Oksa tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 79th minute, Hannes Palolahti managed to get in a good position for a shot. Lähdekylä's supporters rose to their feet, but Hannes Palolahti was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Aatos Oksa breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 84th minute of the match Torsti Vihtilä shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Aatos Oksa showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. If Marko Viljanen had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 86th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Aatos Oksa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hannes Palolahti in the 88th minute of play. Alvi Kokkonen kicked well hit freekick during the 89th minute of the match. After 90 played minutes, Lähdekylä's Jouni Petsamo shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Aatos Oksa came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Lähdekylä reached it. Marko Viljanen fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 93rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Aatos Oksa having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hannes Palolahti in the 95th minute of play forced Himik FC's goalkeeper Aatos Oksa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Hannes Palolahti received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 97th minute. Aatos Oksa tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. There was no doubt that Lähdekylä were the better team. Lähdekylä's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
