Spectators: 8445 (Terracing: 6335, Seating: 1942, VIP seats: 168) Pertti Leinonen came out of the goal in the 7th minute to try and stop a shot by Gnössyksen Soturit's Ale Pasanen. But to his dismay, Ale Pasanen quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. In the 11th match minute, dfg was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Juuso Noronen to maneuver through the defense. The audience thought a goal was coming when Otso Pynnönen got free with Pertti Leinonen in the 15th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Gleb Simonov made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Visa Eklund in the 16th minute of play. A collision led to Gnössyksen Soturit getting a freekick after 18 minutes play. Niko Tranberg hit a great ball. After a defensive mix-up in Gnössyksen Soturit's zone, Riku Ollikainen stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Gleb Simonov came out of the goal and Riku Ollikainen tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 3-0 became the score in the 26th minute when Ale Pasanen elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. After some fancy dribbling in the 30th minute, Riku Ollikainen managed to get in a good position for a shot. dfg's supporters rose to their feet, but Riku Ollikainen was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Gleb Simonov breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Teemu Uusipaavalniemi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 32nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Kim Hannukainen struck a weak shot in the 34th minute. Gleb Simonov didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for dfg. A collision led to dfg getting a freekick after 37 minutes play. Tapio Ylimäki hit a great ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Visa Eklund in the 41st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Gleb Simonov prevented the ball from getting in the gole. An unexpectedly hard shot by Keimo Manninen in the 45th minute of play forced dfg's goalkeeper Pertti Leinonen to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-0 at half-time.

But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Riku Ollikainen couldn't finish the play. Gleb Simonov made an important save on a dangerous shot by Visa Eklund in the 72nd minute. If Visa Eklund had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 73rd minute. Visa Eklund blasted a shot towards the goal in the 81st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Gleb Simonov having to make a save. In the 84th minute Keimo Manninen shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pertti Leinonen saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Riku Ollikainen kicked well hit freekick during the 91st minute of the match. With a little luck, Gnössyksen Soturit's Gleb Simonov got control of the ball when Visa Eklund tried to sneak it across the goal line. dfg were awarded a corner in the 96th minute after Gnössyksen Soturit's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Visa Eklund took the corner. When the referee blew the final whistle, Gnössyksen Soturit could leave the field as winners, despite dfg having more of the ball for most of the match.
