If Reijo Laukkanen had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 30 minutes, Silvo Halminen mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Lappohja FCa and the Gnössyksen Soturit players grew even worse after the yellow card. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Roni Hulkkonen showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. When Ismo Häppölä came up free with the goalie in the 36th minute, the Lappohja FCa fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ismo Häppölä couldn't finish the play. Teuvo Kiviranta received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 37th minute. Gleb Simonov tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Roni Koivuranta sent away a hard shot on goal in the 40th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ismo Häppölä recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 42nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Roni Koivuranta blasted a shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Gleb Simonov having to make a save. Roni Hulkkonen didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Ale Pasanen went, in the 46th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Keimo Manninen was the one to do the kick off. 52 minutes into the match, Teuvo Kiviranta notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of Gnössyksen Soturit's Gleb Simonov. Gleb Simonov was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The supporters of Lappohja FCa booed when Gnössyksen Soturit was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 55 match minutes in a wonderful position. Valio Jokilahti didn't get a good kick on the ball. The Lappohja FCa fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-1. Ale Pasanen hit a great ball. Lappohja FCa walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
