The referee ignored Arrakoski FC's protests and gave Silvo Pajula a yellow card for diving instead. Silvo Pajula hit a great freekick 8 minutes into the match. Aarno Rantanen made a fantastic save in the 11th minute, when Ismo Häppölä sent off a good shot on target. After 14 minutes of play, Arrakoski FC's Keijo Loukonen made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Roni Hulkkonen was left in no man's land by his defense there! Roni Hulkkonen didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Keijo Loukonen went, in the 17th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-3 was the resulting score. Keijo Loukonen scored 0-4 in the 21st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Roni Hulkkonen, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 24th minute Herkko Skyttä shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Roni Hulkkonen saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 26 minutes into the match, Arrakoski FC's goalkeeper Aarno Rantanen had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ismo Häppölä. 28 minutes into the game, Urpo Viitakoski was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Lappohja FCa's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Arrakoski FC the free kick. In the 28th minute, Urpo Viitakoski hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Roni Hulkkonen showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Eetu Rantala in the 31st minute of the match. In the 32nd minute, Antti Kantola ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Roni Hulkkonen was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-5. Keijo Loukonen took the ball and in the 39 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Roni Hulkkonen. Roni Hulkkonen dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-6. Roni Koivuranta's late challenge caught a Arrakoski FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Roni Koivuranta helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Arrakoski FC booed when Lappohja FCa was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 41 match minutes in a wonderful position. Roni Koivuranta didn't get a good kick on the ball. A collision led to Lappohja FCa getting a freekick after 45 minutes play. Silvo Halminen hit a great ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Keijo Loukonen in the 47th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Roni Hulkkonen prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-6 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Ismo Häppölä to strike the kick off in the second half. The supporters of Lappohja FCa booed when Arrakoski FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 52 match minutes in a wonderful position. Eetu Rantala didn't get a good kick on the ball. 54 minutes into the match, Antti Kantola had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Roni Hulkkonen. Lappohja FCa's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Antti Kantola was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-7. Aarno Rantanen made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Roni Koivuranta in the 57th minute of play. A collision led to Arrakoski FC getting a freekick after 58 minutes play. Eetu Rantala hit a great ball. In the 63rd minute Keijo Loukonen shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Roni Hulkkonen saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Roni Hulkkonen showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Keijo Loukonen in the 66th minute of the match. In the 74th minute, Keijo Loukonen reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Roni Hulkkonen. The goal made the score 0-8. Lappohja FCa's Roni Hulkkonen played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Keijo Loukonen in the 78th minute of play. Antti Kantola could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 80th minute of the match, but Roni Hulkkonen made a huge save. Roni Koivuranta got his second yellow card in the match during the 80th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. A collision led to Lappohja FCa getting a freekick after 81 minutes play. Roni Koivuranta hit a great ball. Roni Hulkkonen didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Antti Kantola went, in the 85th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-9 was the resulting score. Roni Hulkkonen took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Keijo Loukonen, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 91st minute, Reijo Laukkanen hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 92 played minutes, Arrakoski FC's Antti Kantola shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Roni Hulkkonen came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Arrakoski FC reached it. Arrakoski FC's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
