Spectators: 8629 (Terracing: 6473, Seating: 1984, VIP seats: 172) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Franck Harmannus started the match with the kick off. In the 3rd minute, Jarkko Haakana fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. The crowd rose to their feet as Sulva FC's Jarkko Haakana slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Juliusz Malewicki. That made the score 1-0 after 5 minutes of play. Jarkko Haakana might have been able to make a better finish in the 7th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Juliusz Malewicki. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Jarkko Haakana ran back to his position shaking his head. After 10 minutes of play, Malko IFK's Franck Harmannus made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Petteri Vikström was left in no man's land by his defense there! Juliusz Malewicki took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ilkka Kujanpää, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 18th minute, Franck Harmannus made a precise shot to the right of Petteri Vikström. Sulva FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-2. Jarkko Haakana fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 25th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Juliusz Malewicki having to interfere. The supporters of Malko IFK booed when Sulva FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 29 match minutes in a wonderful position. Torsti Valkealahti didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a rather tough play, Malko IFK's Aatami Rissanen got a free kick in the 31st minute. Ali Sillgren sent away a hard shot on goal in the 45th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 2-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Ilkka Kujanpää to strike the kick off in the second half. Sulva FC's Petteri Vikström played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tuukka Liimatainen in the 57th minute of play. If Franck Harmannus had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Juliusz Malewicki took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ilkka Kujanpää, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ilkka Kujanpää fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 71st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Juliusz Malewicki having to interfere. In the 74th minute, Petri Heinikallio left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Sulva FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-3. 79 minutes into the match, Sulva FC's goalkeeper Petteri Vikström had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by August Haapamäki. In the 82nd minute Ilkka Kujanpää shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Juliusz Malewicki saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Franck Harmannus in the 84th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Petteri Vikström prevented the ball from getting in the gole.
