After some careless play in the Uupelo FC defense, Manfred Tunander kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Izydor Wierzbicki. The Uupelo FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Izydor Wierzbicki should have stopped the shot. After having played for 38 minutes, Aukusti Seikola managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Svartböle FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Aukusti Seikola was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 42nd minute of the match, Jyri Rintala got a very nice opportunity to score, but Izydor Wierzbicki was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Izydor Wierzbicki made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Manfred Tunander in the 43rd minute of play. After 44 minutes of play, Svartböle FC's Manfred Tunander made it 3-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Izydor Wierzbicki was left in no man's land by his defense there!

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Elmo Rautee to make the kick off. In the 52nd minute Manfred Tunander shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Izydor Wierzbicki saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Izydor Wierzbicki showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Manfred Tunander in the 55th minute of the match. After 57 minutes Uupelo FC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Álvaro Sampil who took care of the corner kick. After some fancy dribbling in the 67th minute, Paulo José Rocha managed to get in a good position for a shot. Svartböle FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Paulo José Rocha was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. An unexpectedly hard shot by Manfred Tunander in the 75th minute of play forced Uupelo FC's goalkeeper Izydor Wierzbicki to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Manfred Tunander in the 76th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Izydor Wierzbicki saved Uupelo FC from getting behind. One of Uupelo FC:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Svartböle FC:s goal. The supporters of Uupelo FC booed when Svartböle FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 96 match minutes in a wonderful position. Paulo José Rocha didn't get a good kick on the ball. 98 minutes into the match, Svartböle FC's Manfred Tunander sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Izydor Wierzbicki narrowly saved just below the crossbar.
