Spectators: 9216 (Terracing: 6914, Seating: 2119, VIP seats: 183) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Ilppo Loikala took the kick off in the first half of the match. 2 minutes into the game, Aatu Kujanpää was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Academy's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave FC Surnu the free kick. In the 2nd minute, Aatu Kujanpää hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Martti Paaso hit a great freekick 4 minutes into the match. After a defensive mix-up in FC Surnu's zone, Elmo Timoska stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ahmet Seyfi Akdal came out of the goal and Elmo Timoska tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 7th minute, Oliver Perämäki hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Academy made a substitution. Ahto Pentsinen replaced Anttoni Ruohiainen. In the 8th match minute, FC Surnu was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Oliver Perämäki to maneuver through the defense. The crowd rose to their feet as Academy's Sakari Vesanen slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Ahmet Seyfi Akdal. That made the score 1-0 after 9 minutes of play. Rubin Swartzs short, quick shot in the 12thth minute got Ahmet Seyfi Akdal to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Sakari Vesanen who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 22ndth minute tested the skills of Ahmet Seyfi Akdal when he managed to save the team from getting behind. A hard shot 26 in the game by Sakari Vesanen from a close distance when the talented Ahmet Seyfi Akdal managed to make a qualified save. FC Surnu's players were relieved. Sakari Vesanen in the 28thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Ahmet Seyfi Akdal, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. The audience thought a goal was coming when Sakari Vesanen got free with Ahmet Seyfi Akdal in the 30th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Ahmet Seyfi Akdal was a little too slow when Sakari Vesanen got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 30th minute. The score was now 2-0. Sakari Vesanen in the 41stth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Ahmet Seyfi Akdal, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. After taking down the ball on Academy's corner Elmo Timoska fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Ahmet Seyfi Akdal quite easily take care of the ball. Sakari Vesanen recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 44th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Sakari Vesanen struck a weak shot in the 46th minute. Ahmet Seyfi Akdal didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Academy. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-0.

Ahmet Seyfi Akdal didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Rubin Swartz went, in the 52nd minute, to the upper right corner, 4-0 was the resulting score. Sakari Vesanen fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 57th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ahmet Seyfi Akdal having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Rubin Swartz in the 62nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ahmet Seyfi Akdal prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 63rd minute, Sakari Vesanen left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Academy fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 5-0. The audience was convinced that Sakari Vesanen's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Ahmet Seyfi Akdal was relentless in the 67th minute of the game. FC Surnu's Ahmet Seyfi Akdal played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sakari Vesanen in the 70th minute of play. In the 72nd minute, Ilppo Loikala hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Sakari Vesanen in the 76th minute a chance for a shot on goal. Ahmet Seyfi Akdal showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Leevi Kokko in the 87th minute of the match. Sakari Vesanen received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 88th minute. Ahmet Seyfi Akdal tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Sakari Vesanen took the ball and in the 91 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Ahmet Seyfi Akdal. Ahmet Seyfi Akdal dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 7-0. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Academy fully deserved thier win.
