Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) FC Surnu's Ilppo Loikala started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Ahmet Seyfi Akdal was out of position in the 40 minute of play, and Keimo Jokiranta capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Keimo Jokiranta really showed his touch with that goal: 1-0. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Rikhard Laine made a kick off. 52 minutes into the match, FC Surnu's goal looked a bit too open when Rikhard Laine came free, but Ahmet Seyfi Akdal reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ahmet Seyfi Akdal didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Kauno Viljanen went, in the 54th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-0 was the resulting score. In the 62ndth minute of the game Ilppo Loikala who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Tetomdsf's Teijo Kosonen was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Osmo Hakanen blasted a shot towards the goal in the 65th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Teijo Kosonen having to make a save. The crowd rose to their feet as FC Surnu's Ilppo Loikala slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Teijo Kosonen. That made the score 2-1 after 69 minutes of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Osmo Puutio in the 75th minute of play forced FC Surnu's goalkeeper Ahmet Seyfi Akdal to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ahmet Seyfi Akdal took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rikhard Laine, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ahmet Seyfi Akdal showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Keimo Jokiranta in the 86th minute of the match. With a little luck, Tetomdsf's Teijo Kosonen got control of the ball when Ilppo Loikala tried to sneak it across the goal line. Lari Reinikka fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Teijo Kosonen having to interfere. FC Surnu were clearly unhappy with the draw, as they felt they had done enough to earn themselves a victory.
