The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 12 minutes into the game, Nuutti Vauhkonen recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Untamo Jatkola. Nuutti Vauhkonen showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-0. Elbert Hand made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Edvard Helenius in the 18th minute of play. Untamo Jatkola took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sixto Ugutz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 21st minute Terho Litja shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Untamo Jatkola saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 22nd minute, Feliks Dawiec managed to get in a good position for a shot. Tapiola IFK's supporters rose to their feet, but Feliks Dawiec was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Elbert Hand breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Untamo Jatkola made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sixto Ugutz in the 24th minute of play. Elbert Hand showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Edvard Helenius in the 25th minute of the match. If Feliks Dawiec had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 26th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Untamo Jatkola showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sixto Ugutz, who was totally free with the ball in the 28th minute. In the 41st minute, Kultapossukerho's Sixto Ugutz ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Untamo Jatkola. Untamo Jatkola yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 5-0. Untamo Jatkola stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Sixto Ugutz's shot from short distance in the 44th minute.

Tapiola IFK made a substitution. Joel Grönvall replaced Fernando Gimenez. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half.
