FC PullaPojat's supporters crossed their fingers, but Valdir de Sousa was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Edwin Söderqvist charged in rather forcefully in the 6th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Edwin Söderqvist the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Tapiola IFK booed when FC PullaPojat was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 7 match minutes in a wonderful position. Edwin Söderqvist didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Sulo Ahola came up free with the goalie in the 7th minute, the Tapiola IFK fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Sulo Ahola couldn't finish the play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Untamo Salermo in the 10th minute of play forced Tapiola IFK's goalkeeper Untamo Jatkola to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 12 played minutes FC PullaPojat got a freekick which was hit by Valdir de Sousa. In the 13th minute Sulo Ahola shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Reino Helavuori saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 18 minutes into the match, Tapiola IFK's goal looked a bit too open when Untamo Salermo came free, but Untamo Jatkola reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 22 minutes into the game, Valdir de Sousa was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. FC PullaPojat's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Tapiola IFK the free kick. Valdir de Sousa kicked well hit freekick during the 22nd minute of the match. In the 24th match minute, FC PullaPojat was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Wlodzimierz Pysz to maneuver through the defense. In the 28th minute of the match Wlodzimierz Pysz shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Untamo Jatkola showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 29th minute, Edvard Helenius managed to get in a good position for a shot. Tapiola IFK's supporters rose to their feet, but Edvard Helenius was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Reino Helavuori breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Reino Helavuori stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Sulo Ahola's shot from short distance in the 32nd minute. A collision led to FC PullaPojat getting a freekick after 39 minutes play. Edwin Söderqvist hit a great ball. Reino Helavuori showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sulo Ahola, who was totally free with the ball in the 40th minute. Untamo Salermo received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Untamo Jatkola came out and tried to block the shot, but Untamo Salermo slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 45th minute.

FC PullaPojat's Feyyaz Ilımlı was substituted for Untamo Salermo. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Edvard Helenius to make the kick off. Feyyaz Ilımlı might have been able to make a better finish in the 58th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Untamo Jatkola. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Feyyaz Ilımlı ran back to his position shaking his head. FC PullaPojat made a substitution. Qwinton Lastras replaced Edwin Söderqvist. In the 62nd match minute, Tapiola IFK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Karri Myllylä to maneuver through the defense. Untamo Jatkola showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Feyyaz Ilımlı, who was totally free with the ball in the 65th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Feyyaz Ilımlı in the 68th minute of play forced Tapiola IFK's goalkeeper Untamo Jatkola to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 72nd minute, Qwinton Lastras got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Untamo Jatkola showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Feyyaz Ilımlı in the 77th minute of the match. In the 81st minute of the match, Sulo Ahola got a very nice opportunity to score, but Reino Helavuori was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Untamo Jatkola took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Feyyaz Ilımlı, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Untamo Jatkola made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Feyyaz Ilımlı in the 87th minute of play. Valdir de Sousa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 89th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The FC PullaPojat fans' excitement grew in the 94th match minute when FC PullaPojat's Feyyaz Ilımlı looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 3-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The FC PullaPojat fans cheered their team off the field, for while Tapiola IFK had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
