Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Into Pihkala to make the kick off. The audience was convinced that Into Pihkala's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Jimmie Damm was relentless in the 54th minute of the game. A very good chance. 76 minutes into the game, one of Paiusalmi IFK:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. In the 80th minute, Jarkko Sammalkangas ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Reino Piekkanen was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-0. In the 85th minute, Marcos Betadur got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Paavo Pentsinen's late challenge caught a Dark Sons of Omar's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Paavo Pentsinen helped the player get up and apologised. Paavo Pentsinen hit a great freekick 93 minutes into the match. In the last second Jimmie Damm throw himself and got hold of the ball when Into Pihkala in the 97thth minute from his position got away a shot towards the right post.
