If Ciriaco Ferrando had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 16th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. With a little luck, Mustanisdfemi IFK's Osmo Pasanen got control of the ball when Ciriaco Ferrando tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 18th minute, Valdemar Kallio ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Osmo Pasanen was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-0. 21 minutes into the game, Ciriaco Ferrando recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Osmo Pasanen. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Osmo Pasanen, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. In the 42nd minute, Savon Palloseura's Markus Pakaslahti ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Osmo Pasanen. Osmo Pasanen yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 8-0. A collision led to Mustanisdfemi IFK getting a freekick after 47 minutes play. Aki Kangasniemi hit a great ball.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Jarno Blom to strike the kick off in the second half.
