In the 3rd match minute, Koisthuhta FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ossi Hakala to maneuver through the defense. Timo Teräs stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Aappo Tuominen's shot from short distance in the 7th minute. The supporters of Toukola booed when Koisthuhta FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 8 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ossi Hakala didn't get a good kick on the ball. Mika Arkivuo didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 9th minute, which inside left pole to 1-0. Kuisma Lundell hit a great freekick 11 minutes into the match. After 17 minutes, Manu Palenius mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Koisthuhta FC and the Toukola players grew even worse after the yellow card. Mika Arkivuo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Timo Turpeinen, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 30 minutes into the match, Aappo Tuominen had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Timo Teräs. Toukola's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Aappo Tuominen was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-1. Mika Arkivuo made an important save on a dangerous shot by Kuisma Lundell in the 34th minute. If Kuisma Lundell had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-1 at half-time.

The wind increased when Kuisma Lundell made the kick off in the second half. 53 minutes into the match, Timo Turpeinen had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Mika Arkivuo. Koisthuhta FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Timo Turpeinen was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-1. Koisthuhta FC's Mika Arkivuo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Timo Turpeinen in the 57th minute of play. A collision led to Toukola getting a freekick after 69 minutes play. Tarsan Sarbini hit a great ball. Mika Arkivuo stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Kuisma Lundell's shot from short distance in the 72nd minute. The supporters of Koisthuhta FC booed when Toukola was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 77 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tarsan Sarbini didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Aappo Tuominen in the 80th minute of play forced Toukola's goalkeeper Timo Teräs to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Mika Arkivuo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kuisma Lundell in the 82nd minute of the match. Mika Arkivuo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Aarre Kuusela in the 84th minute of play. When Ossi Hakala fell near the penalty area in the 92nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Koisthuhta FC's protests and gave Ossi Hakala a yellow card for diving instead.
