Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Mannerheim's Kullervo Niemivirta started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Albert Jokilahti hit a great freekick 3 minutes into the match. Jarno Blom hit a great freekick 5 minutes into the match. Osmo Pasanen made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kullervo Niemivirta in the 12th minute of play. In the 12th match minute, Mustanisdfemi IFK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Taavi Kotilahti to maneuver through the defense. Osmo Pasanen stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Kullervo Niemivirta's shot from short distance in the 14th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Orvo Hämäläinen got free with Gigi Mantu in the 16th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Osmo Pasanen came out of the goal in the 21st minute to try and stop a shot by Mannerheim's Kullervo Niemivirta. But to his dismay, Kullervo Niemivirta quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Marko Takala sent away a hard shot on goal in the 26th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Kullervo Niemivirta took the ball and in the 29 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Osmo Pasanen. Osmo Pasanen dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. Osmo Pasanen took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Marko Takala, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 33rd minute, Olli-Pekka Paajanen hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Gigi Mantu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jarno Blom in the 36th minute of the match. After 37 played minutes Mannerheim got a freekick which was hit by Artturi Furuholm. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dong Tian Xing in the 39th minute of play forced Mustanisdfemi IFK's goalkeeper Osmo Pasanen to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, Mustanisdfemi IFK's Orvo Hämäläinen got a free kick in the 40th minute. After some careless play in the Mustanisdfemi IFK defense, Kullervo Niemivirta kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Osmo Pasanen. The Mustanisdfemi IFK fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Osmo Pasanen should have stopped the shot. Disappointed in the 0-3 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Jarno Blom recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 53rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The supporters of Mustanisdfemi IFK booed when Mannerheim was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 60 match minutes in a wonderful position. Perttu Niskanen didn't get a good kick on the ball. Orvo Hämäläinen received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 62nd minute. Gigi Mantu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Tapio Nitti fell near the penalty area in the 64th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Mustanisdfemi IFK's protests and gave Tapio Nitti a yellow card for diving instead. In the 63rd minute, one of Mustanisdfemi IFK:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Mustanisdfemi IFK. The referee gave Mannerheim a penalty, 65 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Albert Jokilahti, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Mustanisdfemi IFK's Osmo Pasanen. 0-5. Kullervo Niemivirta was extremely unlucky when he, in the 68th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. Osmo Pasanen took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Marko Takala, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Osmo Pasanen made a fantastic save in the 93rd minute, when Dong Tian Xing sent off a good shot on target. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kullervo Niemivirta in the 95th minute of play forced Mustanisdfemi IFK's goalkeeper Osmo Pasanen to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Kullervo Niemivirta sent away a hard shot on goal in the 96th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Jarno Blom fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 100th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gigi Mantu having to interfere. The Mustanisdfemi IFK fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Mannerheim were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
