An unexpectedly hard shot by Aki Järventaus in the 5th minute of play forced Ruskeakoski IFK's goalkeeper Sol Gardner to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 10th minute Oskari Hauhtonen shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sol Gardner saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Panu Vihko struck a weak shot in the 11th minute. Viljami Hänninen didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ruskeakoski IFK. 13 minutes into the game, Manne Kattilakoski recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Viljami Hänninen. Manne Kattilakoski showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. 16 minutes into the match, Kontula Kickers's goalkeeper Viljami Hänninen had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Panu Vihko. Sol Gardner took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Kaj Uusitalo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 21 minutes into the match, Ruskeakoski IFK's goal looked a bit too open when Pellervo Koivunen came free, but Sol Gardner reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Sol Gardner showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Aki Järventaus in the 37th minute of the match. Sol Gardner made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Oskari Hauhtonen in the 44th minute of play. Manne Kattilakoski kicked well hit freekick during the 45th minute of the match.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Kaj Uusitalo stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Panu Vihko in the 57th minute of play forced Kontula Kickers's goalkeeper Viljami Hänninen to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Aki Järventaus in the 64th minute of play forced Ruskeakoski IFK's goalkeeper Sol Gardner to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Sol Gardner made an important save on a dangerous shot by Kaj Uusitalo in the 65th minute. Viljami Hänninen showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Panu Vihko in the 75th minute of the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Panu Vihko in the 76th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Viljami Hänninen prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 77 played minutes Kontula Kickers got a freekick which was hit by Sylvesteri Lahti. Viljami Hänninen made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Manne Kattilakoski in the 79th minute of play. In the 80th minute, one of Ruskeakoski IFK:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Ruskeakoski IFK. When the match had been going on for 83 minutes, Kontula Kickers's Pellervo Koivunen got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Sol Gardner. The Ruskeakoski IFK fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Kontula Kickers were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
