One of Akanlahti IFK:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of AC Sarsaparilla:s goal. Gonçalo Aguiar came out of the goal in the 14th minute to try and stop a shot by AC Sarsaparilla's Heimo Heliskoski. But to his dismay, Heimo Heliskoski quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. With a little luck, AC Sarsaparilla's Taavi Hulkkonen got control of the ball when 卓常卫 tried to sneak it across the goal line. After 21 minutes, Heikki Sulonen made it 0-2 with a short kick to the right side. Akanlahti IFK's Gonçalo Aguiar tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. 卓常卫 came free with the goalkeeper in the 24th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Taavi Hulkkonen could save by the left post. 26 minutes into the match, AC Sarsaparilla's goal looked a bit too open when Ivar Jonasson came free, but Taavi Hulkkonen reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some careless play in the Akanlahti IFK defense, Heimo Heliskoski kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Gonçalo Aguiar. The Akanlahti IFK fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Gonçalo Aguiar should have stopped the shot. In the 37th minute Rainer Nielikäinen shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Taavi Hulkkonen saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Long Johnson did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 1-3 to the left of a surprised Taavi Hulkkonen 39 minutes into the match. In the 42nd minute of the match, 卓常卫 got a very nice opportunity to score, but Taavi Hulkkonen was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Taavi Hulkkonen showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Long Johnson in the 44th minute of the match. Akanlahti IFK's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Joakim Nikko in the 46th minute. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-3 lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Long Johnson stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 53 minutes had been played when some careless play by AC Sarsaparilla's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Joakim Nikko was slow to take the kick. During this time Akanlahti IFK's players had a chance to rest. With an all-out effort, AC Sarsaparilla's Gonçalo Aguiar threw himself towards the right post 59 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Juha-Pekka Glad, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. With a little luck, Akanlahti IFK's Gonçalo Aguiar got control of the ball when Heikki Sulonen tried to sneak it across the goal line. Edvard Laakkonen kicked well hit freekick during the 67th minute of the match. Akanlahti IFK made a substitution. The supporters of Akanlahti IFK booed when AC Sarsaparilla was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 75 match minutes in a wonderful position. Heimo Heliskoski didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Guto Sabóia in the 76th minute of play forced AC Sarsaparilla's goalkeeper Taavi Hulkkonen to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Taavi Hulkkonen made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from 卓常卫 in the 77th minute of play. Ivar Jonasson's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Taavi Hulkkonen read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 79th minute of play. After 79 minutes, Guto Sabóia made it 2-4 with a short kick to the right side. AC Sarsaparilla's Taavi Hulkkonen tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Heimo Heliskoski in the 85th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Gonçalo Aguiar saved Akanlahti IFK from getting behind. After some fancy dribbling in the 90th minute, Heimo Heliskoski managed to get in a good position for a shot. AC Sarsaparilla's supporters rose to their feet, but Heimo Heliskoski was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Gonçalo Aguiar breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. AC Sarsaparilla's Uoti Grönholm was substituted for Joonatan Huttunen. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. AC Sarsaparilla walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
