The audience thought a goal was coming when Emiliano Rayman got free with Yan Chong Sen in the 10th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After having played for 13 minutes, Romelu Lukaku managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Palloketut's supporters crossed their fingers, but Romelu Lukaku was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Heikki Kuusinen had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 15th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Palloketut's Yan Chong Sen proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 19th minute of the match, managed to save Palloketut from getting a goal against them. If Leif Ojanen had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 26th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 31st minute the ball was on its way in behind HUIJARI karppamies's goalkeeper Dimitris Perdikakis, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Romelu Lukaku in the 34th minute of play forced HUIJARI karppamies's goalkeeper Dimitris Perdikakis to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Emiliano Rayman had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 43 minutes into the match, Romelu Lukaku notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of HUIJARI karppamies's Dimitris Perdikakis. Dimitris Perdikakis was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The supporters of HUIJARI karppamies booed when Palloketut was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 45 match minutes in a wonderful position. Marcus Hjelm didn't get a good kick on the ball. Emiliano Rayman recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 46th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The HUIJARI karppamies players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Palloketut were winning 0-1.

In the 53rd minute, Daniel Jarosz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Palloketut's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Ali Ruohiainen in the 57th minute. Palloketut's Ali Ruohiainen was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Dimitris Perdikakis in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. In the 61st match minute, Palloketut was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rikhard Elomo to maneuver through the defense. 61 minutes into the match, Palloketut's goal looked a bit too open when Heikki Kuusinen came free, but Yan Chong Sen reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 64th minute, Hemminki Koivula ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Yan Chong Sen was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. Palloketut's Toni Fabich was substituted for Romelu Lukaku. Dimitris Perdikakis made a fantastic save in the 70th minute, when Toni Fabich sent off a good shot on target. Yan Chong Sen showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Torsti Tuuri in the 76th minute of the match. Yan Chong Sen took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Emiliano Rayman, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Emiliano Rayman came up free with the goalie in the 81st minute, the HUIJARI karppamies fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Emiliano Rayman couldn't finish the play. Palloketut made a substitution. Doğuş Turabi replaced Marcus Hjelm. The throw-in from Ali Ruohiainen in the 84th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by HUIJARI karppamies's Hemminki Koivula. Yan Chong Sen took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Torsti Tuuri, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Hemminki Koivula hit a great freekick 88 minutes into the match. The second half was just like the first, even and exciting. The match ended in a draw.
