In the 29th minute Manne Kattilakoski shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Vilho Nikkari saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 32 minutes into the match, Ensio Kampman notched a goal, 3-0, to the right of Ruskeakoski IFK's Sol Gardner. Sol Gardner was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ensio Kampman got free with Sol Gardner in the 45th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort.

When Ritokylä's Ensio Kampman, in the 53rd minute, received a pass right in front of the net, it looked like a certain goal, but his shot went outside. A wasted opportunity for Ritokylä. 56 minutes into the game, Didi Fox cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 5-1. Sol Gardner was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in.
