Spectators: 10878 (Terracing: 8159, Seating: 2502, VIP seats: 217) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Toni Fabich took the kick off in the first half of the match. Yan Chong Sen came out of the goal in the 7th minute to try and stop a shot by Ritokylä's Didi Fox. But to his dismay, Didi Fox quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Terho Valin in the 10th minute of play forced Palloketut's goalkeeper Yan Chong Sen to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 12 minutes Palloketut's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Keijo Lehti who took care of the corner kick. Vilho Nikkari showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Toni Fabich in the 19th minute of the match. If Ensio Kampman had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 20th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Mariano Atarratze took the ball and in the 26 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Yan Chong Sen. Yan Chong Sen dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. Vilho Nikkari made an important save on a dangerous shot by Voitto Nyrhinen in the 28th minute. Yan Chong Sen made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mariano Atarratze in the 30th minute of play. In the 36th minute Didi Fox shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Yan Chong Sen saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Keijo Lehti made a great header on Ritokylä's corner, it was just that Palloketut's Yan Chong Sen managed to reach the ball for a save. 39 minutes into the match, Ritokylä's goalkeeper Vilho Nikkari had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Voitto Nyrhinen. An unexpectedly hard shot by Toni Fabich in the 40th minute of play forced Ritokylä's goalkeeper Vilho Nikkari to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ritokylä's Ensio Kampman got a good chance for a goal in the 44th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The Palloketut players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Ritokylä were winning 0-2.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Didi Fox to make the kick off. In the 54th minute the ball was on its way in behind Palloketut's goalkeeper Yan Chong Sen, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 56th minute Ritokylä were awarded a corner. Keijo Lehti went to the cornerflag to take it. A collision led to Ritokylä getting a freekick after 56 minutes play. Mariano Atarratze hit a great ball. Vilho Nikkari showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Toni Fabich, who was totally free with the ball in the 59th minute. Ritokylä's Vilho Nikkari played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Toni Fabich in the 59th minute of play. Ensio Kampman who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 60thth minute tested the skills of Yan Chong Sen when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Palloketut made a substitution. Marcus Hjelm replaced Doğuş Turabi. Voitto Nyrhinen's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Vilho Nikkari read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 67th minute of play. Vilho Nikkari showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Toni Fabich in the 70th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Palloketut's Tommi Kangasmäki got a free kick in the 72nd minute. Yan Chong Sen acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 73rd minute, took the ball on the long shot from Keijo Lehti. Vilho Nikkari showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Voitto Nyrhinen, who was totally free with the ball in the 76th minute. The supporters of Ritokylä booed when Palloketut was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 77 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tommi Kangasmäki didn't get a good kick on the ball. After having played for 78 minutes, Keijo Lehti managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ritokylä's supporters crossed their fingers, but Keijo Lehti was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Vilho Nikkari showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ali Ruohiainen, who was totally free with the ball in the 80th minute. Yan Chong Sen made a fantastic save in the 82nd minute, when Ensio Kampman sent off a good shot on target. In the 85th minute, Heino Helkamo ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Vilho Nikkari was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-2.
