Kaj Uusitalo in the 22ndth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Viljami Hänninen stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Taisto Pentsinen's shot from short distance in the 24th minute. Kaj Uusitalo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 25th minute of the match, but Edwin van der Sar made a huge save. Viljami Hänninen made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eero Uusipaavalniemi in the 28th minute of play. In the 30thth minute of the game Eero Uusipaavalniemi who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Kontula Kickers's Viljami Hänninen was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. With a little luck, Manchester United FC's Edwin van der Sar got control of the ball when Kaj Uusitalo tried to sneak it across the goal line. Kaj Uusitalo who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 33rdth minute tested the skills of Edwin van der Sar when he managed to save the team from getting behind. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Aki Järventaus in the 37th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Edwin van der Sar saved Manchester United FC from getting behind. With a little luck, Manchester United FC's Edwin van der Sar got control of the ball when Tahvo Wallden tried to sneak it across the goal line. Eero Uusipaavalniemi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 46th minute. Viljami Hänninen tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Eero Uusipaavalniemi had several of the Kontula Kickers's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 59 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 0-6 score and a disappointed Viljami Hänninen as he didn't even see the shot coming. Viljami Hänninen made an important save on a dangerous shot by Eero Uusipaavalniemi in the 62nd minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Taisto Pentsinen in the 64th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Viljami Hänninen prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Manchester United FC's Pietari Puhakainen was substituted for Alfred Laulaja. In the 95th minute, Erik Cantona fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. Kontula Kickers's Sipi Laakkonen was substituted for Kaj Uusitalo. Kontula Kickers's Oskari Hauhtonen was substituted for Aki Järventaus. The Kontula Kickers supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Manchester United FC's performance. The match ended with a win for Manchester United FC.
