Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Hanafy Mohab started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. Hany Mowafak showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Shaker Yousry in the 5th minute of the match. If Hakeem Medhat had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 8th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the match had gone on for 19 minutes, Hakeem Medhat took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Fares Nassef to make any attempt to save it. Hakeem Medhat fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 22nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fares Nassef having to interfere. In the 26th minute, Hanafy Mohab ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Fares Nassef was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-0. Hany Mowafak made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ziyad Essam in the 29th minute of play. The supporters of Istanha booed when gen was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 30 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sabry Baher didn't get a good kick on the ball. Hanafy Mohab received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 37th minute. Fares Nassef tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.

A collision led to gen getting a freekick after 54 minutes play. Mortada Ehab hit a great ball. If Hakeem Medhat had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 61st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Mortada Ehab's late challenge caught a Istanha's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Mortada Ehab helped the player get up and apologised. Mortada Ehab kicked well hit freekick during the 65th minute of the match. In the 66th minute, Ziyad Essam got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 69 minutes into the game, Istanha's Shaker Yousry nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Hany Mowafak made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-1. Ziyad Essam charged in rather forcefully in the 73rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Ziyad Essam the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Istanha's Ziyad Essam got a free kick in the 73rd minute. Hany Mowafak took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ziyad Essam, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A very good chance. 89 minutes into the match, Istanha's goal looked a bit too open when Hanafy Mohab came free, but Fares Nassef reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 96 minutes of play, gen's Mortada Ehab made it 3-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Fares Nassef was left in no man's land by his defense there!
