Mubarak Riad showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Samer Fahed, who was totally free with the ball in the 7th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Shalma's zone, Safwat Gomaa stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Naguib Khaled came out of the goal and Safwat Gomaa tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The audience was convinced that Safwat Gomaa's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Naguib Khaled was relentless in the 22nd minute of the game. Safwat Gomaa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 24th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Naguib Khaled having to interfere. In the 27th minute, Deyab Mohammed got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Mubarak Riad took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Samer Fahed, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hassan Kareem in the 30th minute of play forced Mandishah's goalkeeper Mubarak Riad to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The referee ignored Mandishah's protests and gave Essam Nizar a yellow card for diving instead. In the 43rd match minute, Mandishah was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Essam Nizar to maneuver through the defense. In the 46th minute Karam Mustafa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mubarak Riad saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The Mandishah players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Shalma were winning 0-2.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Karam Mustafa to make the kick off. Karam Mustafa recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 52nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Mubarak Riad made a fantastic save in the 55th minute, when Hassan Kareem sent off a good shot on target. Karam Mustafa received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Mubarak Riad came out and tried to block the shot, but Karam Mustafa slotted it home off the left post making it 0-3 in the 56th minute. Mandishah's Mubarak Riad played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Karam Mustafa in the 60th minute of play. Deyab Mohammed hit a great freekick 61 minutes into the match. Mandishah's Mubarak Riad proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 63rd minute of the match, managed to save Mandishah from getting a goal against them. When the match had gone on for 68 minutes, Safwat Gomaa put it in 1-3 from a short distance just to the right of Naguib Khaled. In the 71stth minute of the game Safwat Gomaa who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Shalma's Naguib Khaled was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Safwat Gomaa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 73rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Safwat Gomaa in the 74th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Naguib Khaled prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Karam Mustafa received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Mubarak Riad came out and tried to block the shot, but Karam Mustafa slotted it home off the left post making it 1-4 in the 78th minute. In the 82nd minute of the match Barakat Seif shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Mubarak Riad showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Mubarak Riad made a fantastic save in the 83rd minute, when Hassan Kareem sent off a good shot on target. Naguib Khaled took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Safwat Gomaa, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a little luck, Mandishah's Mubarak Riad got control of the ball when Samer Fahed tried to sneak it across the goal line. The Mandishah fans' excitement grew in the 88th match minute when Mandishah's Safwat Gomaa looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 2-4 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Mandishah's Safwat Gomaa got a good chance for a goal in the 91st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Safwat Gomaa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 97 minutes, Safwat Gomaa made it 3-4 with a short kick to the right side. Shalma's Naguib Khaled tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot.
