Spectators: 6760 (Terracing: 5760, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) When Amgad Ramadan came up free with the goalie in the 10th minute, the Qurashiya fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Amgad Ramadan couldn't finish the play. Sallam F.C's Ramez Marwan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fares El-Yamani in the 10th minute of play. Ramez Marwan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fares El-Yamani in the 11th minute of the match. Sallam F.C's Taha Abdel Monsef got a good chance for a goal in the 13th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Abbas Mubarak's late challenge caught a Qurashiya's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Abbas Mubarak helped the player get up and apologised. In the 14th match minute, Sallam F.C was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Abbas Mubarak to maneuver through the defense. 21 minutes into the match, Sallam F.C's goal looked a bit too open when Amgad Ramadan came free, but Ramez Marwan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to Sallam F.C getting a freekick after 22 minutes play. Abbas Mubarak hit a great ball. In the 23rd minute, Amgad Ramadan ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Ramez Marwan was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Ramez Marwan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Amgad Ramadan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Qurashiya's Fares El-Yamani got a good chance for a goal in the 29th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The audience was convinced that Fares El-Yamani's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Ramez Marwan was relentless in the 35th minute of the game. Abbas Mubarak hit a great freekick 36 minutes into the match. The crowd rose to their feet as Hamada Mowafak kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Mostafa Bahy. That made the score 1-1 in the 38 minute of play. Hossam Gaafar's late challenge caught a Qurashiya's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Hossam Gaafar helped the player get up and apologised. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 43rd minute of the game. One of Sallam F.C:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Qurashiya:s goal. Ramez Marwan went to the wrong direction when Reda Hassan was taking care of the penalty kick which however missed the goal. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Fares El-Yamani was the one to do the kick off. Shehab Nabil's late challenge caught a Sallam F.C's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Shehab Nabil helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Qurashiya getting a freekick after 53 minutes play. Shehab Nabil hit a great ball. In the 57th minute Fares El-Yamani shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ramez Marwan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Hamada Mowafak fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 59th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mostafa Bahy having to interfere. Ramez Marwan made a fantastic save in the 63rd minute, when Amgad Ramadan sent off a good shot on target. Ramez Marwan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fares El-Yamani, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, Sallam F.C's Anwar Mohab got a free kick in the 79th minute. Amgad Ramadan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 81st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ramez Marwan having to interfere. After 84 minutes of play Sallam F.C's Abbas Mubarak was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. The supporters of Qurashiya booed when Sallam F.C was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 85 match minutes in a wonderful position. Abbas Mubarak didn't get a good kick on the ball. After recieving a nice pass, Qurashiya's Reda Hassan tried to score from far away in the 86th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. The audience thought a goal was coming when Amgad Ramadan got free with Ramez Marwan in the 90th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After some fancy dribbling in the 91st minute, Fares El-Yamani managed to get in a good position for a shot. Qurashiya's supporters rose to their feet, but Fares El-Yamani was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ramez Marwan breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
