Besheer Hassan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Basem Abaza in the 21st minute of the match. A collision led to El-Ahly FC getting a freekick after 23 minutes play. Gaafar Saad hit a great ball. Mowafak Lateef's late challenge caught a El-Ahly FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Mowafak Lateef helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Imbadah's Mowafak Lateef got a free kick in the 27th minute.
