The supporters of Abbasa booed when King of the world ahmed was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 27 match minutes in a wonderful position. Apolo Figueroa didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 28th minute, Ramy Kamal hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a defensive mix-up in King of the world ahmed's zone, Maher Nagy stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Sameeh Zaky came out of the goal and Maher Nagy tried to chip the ball over his head. Kamal El-Yamani stood somewhat misplaced when Apolo Figueroa came free in front of goal and shot 3-0 to the left of him in the 37 minute. Kamal El-Yamani showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Apolo Figueroa in the 44th minute of the match. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Serag Fahmy stepped up to make the kick off in the second half.
