Spectators: 7458 (Terracing: 5647, Seating: 1731, VIP seats: 80) Abbasa's Serag Fahmy started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 3 minutes into the match, ismaily's goal looked a bit too open when Serag Fahmy came free, but Maher Metwaly reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Abbasa's Serag Fahmy in the 5th minute got a chance for a shot 5th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye ismaily's goalie prevented a goal. Serag Fahmy fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 7th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Maher Metwaly having to interfere. After 8 played minutes ismaily got a freekick which was hit by Maged Fareed. An unexpectedly hard shot by Serag Fahmy in the 12th minute of play forced ismaily's goalkeeper Maher Metwaly to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Maher Metwaly came out of the goal in the 13th minute to try and stop a shot by Abbasa's Serag Fahmy. But to his dismay, Serag Fahmy quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Maher Metwaly made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Serag Fahmy in the 17th minute of play. In the 19th minute, Maher Nagy got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Maher Metwaly showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Serag Fahmy in the 20th minute of the match. Maher Nagy received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 25th minute. Maher Metwaly tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 27th minute, Serag Fahmy managed to get in a good position for a shot. Abbasa's supporters rose to their feet, but Serag Fahmy was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Maher Metwaly breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 28th minute the ball was on its way in behind ismaily's goalkeeper Maher Metwaly, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 32nd minute, Maher Nagy made a precise shot to the right of Maher Metwaly. ismaily's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. Maher Metwaly showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Serag Fahmy in the 35th minute of the match. When Maged Fareed fell near the penalty area in the 40th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored ismaily's protests and gave Maged Fareed a yellow card for diving instead. Hussien Moheb received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 44th minute. Maher Metwaly tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.

The wind increased when Hossam Fahmy made the kick off in the second half. The audience thought a goal was coming when Maher Nagy got free with Maher Metwaly in the 52nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Maher Nagy received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 56th minute. Maher Metwaly tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to ismaily getting a freekick after 57 minutes play. Hossam Fahmy hit a great ball. Maher Nagy who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 64thth minute tested the skills of Maher Metwaly when he managed to save the team from getting behind. When Maher Nagy came up free with the goalie in the 68th minute, the Abbasa fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Maher Nagy couldn't finish the play. Maher Nagy sent away a hard shot on goal in the 71st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Maher Nagy had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 79th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Maher Nagy's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Maher Metwaly read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 82nd minute of play. Maher Nagy might have been able to make a better finish in the 83rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Maher Metwaly. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Maher Nagy ran back to his position shaking his head. With a little luck, ismaily's Maher Metwaly got control of the ball when Maher Nagy tried to sneak it across the goal line. Abbasa's Maher Nagy got a good chance for a goal in the 95th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When the final whistle sounded Abbasa left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than ismaily.
