A collision led to Kharifah getting a freekick after 3 minutes play. Ghanem Talaat was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Farouk Gameel recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 8th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Mazhar Ismail might have been able to make a better finish in the 10th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Ghanem Talaat. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Mazhar Ismail ran back to his position shaking his head. Ghanem Talaat was a little too slow when Mazhar Ismail got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 12th minute. The score was now 2-0. Ghanem Talaat showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mazhar Ismail in the 16th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Kharifah's zone, Farouk Gameel stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ghanem Talaat came out of the goal and Farouk Gameel tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Kharifah's Ghanem Talaat proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 25th minute of the match, managed to save Kharifah from getting a goal against them. The throw-in from Mubarak El-hadary in the 26th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Bolton Wanderers's Ibrahim Emam. In the last second Ghanem Talaat throw himself and got hold of the ball when Mazhar Ismail in the 27thth minute from his position got away a shot towards the right post. Salah Hisham fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 29th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Khalil Besheer having to interfere. Mazhar Ismail sent away a hard shot on goal in the 31st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mazhar Ismail in the 33rd minute of play forced Kharifah's goalkeeper Ghanem Talaat to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ibrahim Emam struck a weak shot in the 34th minute. Ghanem Talaat didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Bolton Wanderers. Ghanem Talaat made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mazhar Ismail in the 38th minute of play. Af the end of the first half the score was 4-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Mazhar Ismail to strike the kick off in the second half. 53 minutes into the game, Bolton Wanderers's Abdel Wahab Fadel nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Ghanem Talaat made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 5-0. In the 55th minute Mazhar Ismail shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ghanem Talaat saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 58th minute, Mazhar Ismail made a precise shot to the right of Ghanem Talaat. Kharifah's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 6-0. When Bolton Wanderers's Farouk Gameel in the 63rd minute got a chance for a shot 63rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. The Bolton Wanderers fans' excitement grew in the 71st match minute when Bolton Wanderers's Mazhar Ismail looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 8-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. In the 76th minute, Mazhar Ismail left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Bolton Wanderers fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 9-0. Ghanem Talaat made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mazhar Ismail in the 80th minute of play. 83 minutes into the match, Kharifah's goal looked a bit too open when Mazhar Ismail came free, but Ghanem Talaat reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Fikry Rasheed hit a great freekick 87 minutes into the match. 88 minutes into the game, Rateb Seif was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Kharifah's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Bolton Wanderers the free kick. If Mazhar Ismail had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Farouk Gameel took the ball and in the 94 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Ghanem Talaat. Ghanem Talaat dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 10-0. In the 98th minute Farouk Gameel shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ghanem Talaat saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Bolton Wanderers fully deserved thier win.
