Fayyoum's Maged Mamdouh played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hussien Ayoub in the 11th minute of play. 15 minutes into the match, Beida's Hussien Ayoub sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Maged Mamdouh narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 16 minutes into the match, Beida's goalkeeper Abdel Monsef Mortada had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Shehta Badr. When the match had gone on for 24 minutes, Hussien Ayoub put it in 0-1 from a short distance just to the right of Maged Mamdouh. After a defensive mix-up in Fayyoum's zone, Hussien Ayoub stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Maged Mamdouh came out of the goal and Hussien Ayoub tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Ali Hisham fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 29th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Maged Mamdouh having to interfere. Abdel Monsef Mortada took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Medhat Ramzy, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Hussien Ayoub had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Abdel Monsef Mortada made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Medhat Ramzy in the 37th minute of play. In the 40th match minute, Beida was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Hamza Kamouna to maneuver through the defense. Medhat Ramzy received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 41st minute. Abdel Monsef Mortada tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Abaza Tamer during the 45th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 46th minute there was a penalty for Beida. Helal Fareed stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Maged Mamdouh. 0-2. The Fayyoum players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Beida were winning 0-2.

Hussien Ayoub struck a weak shot in the 53rd minute. Maged Mamdouh didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Beida. When Ghanem Shady came up free with the goalie in the 55th minute, the Beida fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ghanem Shady couldn't finish the play. A hard shot 57 in the game by Hussien Ayoub from a close distance when the talented Maged Mamdouh managed to make a qualified save. Fayyoum's players were relieved. An unexpectedly hard shot by Riad Sallam in the 63rd minute of play forced Beida's goalkeeper Abdel Monsef Mortada to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of Fayyoum booed when Beida was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 94 match minutes in a wonderful position. Abdel Masoud Amr didn't get a good kick on the ball. Beida played a much better game than Fayyoum and deserved their victory. The Fayyoum players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
