Seating: 1950, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Mazhar Moheb took the kick off in the first half of the match. Belal Mido's late challenge caught a Rhinocolorum's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Belal Mido helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Fayyoum's Abdel Hameed Abaza got a free kick in the 4th minute. After recieving a nice pass, Rhinocolorum's Ashraf Hazem tried to score from far away in the 5th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. The audience was convinced that Hazem Magdy's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Hashem Hakeem was relentless in the 7th minute of the game. Hazem Magdy sent away a hard shot on goal in the 9th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Osama Mohab was a little too slow when Shehta Amgad got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 14th minute. The score was now 1-0. Fayyoum's Abdel Hameed Qasem got a good chance for a goal in the 21st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After having played for 25 minutes, Mazhar Moheb managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Rhinocolorum's supporters crossed their fingers, but Mazhar Moheb was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Abdel Hameed Qasem received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 30th minute. Osama Mohab tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 33 minutes into the match, Fayyoum's goal looked a bit too open when Hazem Magdy came free, but Hashem Hakeem reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Osama Mohab showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Shehta Amgad, who was totally free with the ball in the 35th minute. Abdel Hameed Qasem recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 39th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Hashem Hakeem came out of the goal in the 42nd minute to try and stop a shot by Rhinocolorum's Mazhar Moheb. But to his dismay, Mazhar Moheb quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. If Hazem Magdy had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Hashem Hakeem made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mazhar Moheb in the 48th minute of play. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.
The wind increased when Shehta Amgad made the kick off in the second half. With a little luck, Fayyoum's Hashem Hakeem got control of the ball when Hazem Magdy tried to sneak it across the goal line. Hashem Hakeem showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mazhar Moheb in the 54th minute of the match. Rhinocolorum's Osama Mohab played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Shehta Amgad in the 56th minute of play. Hazem Magdy could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 60th minute of the match, but Hashem Hakeem made a huge save. Hazem Magdy received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 69th minute. Hashem Hakeem tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Mazhar Moheb in the 79th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Hashem Hakeem saved Fayyoum from getting behind. After 85 played minutes Rhinocolorum got a freekick which was hit by Abaza Kareem. A collision led to Rhinocolorum getting a freekick after 87 minutes play. Abaza Kareem hit a great ball. Osama Mohab showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Shehta Amgad in the 96th minute of the match. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Rhinocolorum eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
