Seating: 1944, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Hafez Ramzy got the match started through his kick off. Rasheed Hisham sent away a hard shot on goal in the 3rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Deyaa Taher came free with the goalkeeper in the 8th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Basyouny Samir could save by the left post. Basyouny Samir made an important save on a dangerous shot by Deyaa Taher in the 15th minute. Kamal Metwaly sent away a hard shot on goal in the 21st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Hafez Ramzy received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 26th minute. Basyouny Samir tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Hafez Ramzy succeeded in the game's 28th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 1-0. In the 35th minute, Rasheed Hisham got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Rasheed Hisham had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ahmed Thabit stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Rasheed Hisham's shot from short distance in the 40th minute. Hafez Ramzy who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 44thth minute tested the skills of Basyouny Samir when he managed to save the team from getting behind. In the 45th minute Hafez Ramzy shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Basyouny Samir saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ahmed Thabit came out of the goal in the 47th minute to try and stop a shot by Shatturah's Rasheed Hisham. But to his dismay, Rasheed Hisham quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Rasheed Hisham to strike the kick off in the second half. When Raslan Atef fell near the penalty area in the 53rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Siut's protests and gave Raslan Atef a yellow card for diving instead. Raslan Atef hit a great freekick 53 minutes into the match. With a little luck, Siut's Ahmed Thabit got control of the ball when Rasheed Hisham tried to sneak it across the goal line. After a rather tough play, Shatturah's Rasheed Hisham got a free kick in the 59th minute. Kamal Metwaly fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 64th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ahmed Thabit having to interfere. Ahmed Thabit made an important save on a dangerous shot by Rasheed Hisham in the 70th minute. Rasheed Hisham sent away a hard shot on goal in the 71st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Kamal Metwaly fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 79th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ahmed Thabit having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hafez Ramzy in the 83rd minute of play forced Shatturah's goalkeeper Basyouny Samir to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Kamal Metwaly recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 88th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. An unexpected shot in the 91st minute by Rasheed Hisham got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. After some fancy dribbling in the 93rd minute, Kamal Metwaly managed to get in a good position for a shot. Shatturah's supporters rose to their feet, but Kamal Metwaly was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ahmed Thabit breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 96 minutes, Rasheed Hisham made it 1-2 with a short kick to the right side. Siut's Ahmed Thabit tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. The Siut fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Shatturah were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
