With an all-out effort, ديـرمـواس's Fareed Ahmed threw himself towards the right post 9 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Amgad Ayman, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Salah el din El-Shater had several of the Hurghada's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 12 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 1-0 score and a disappointed Fareed Ahmed as he didn't even see the shot coming. Fareed Ahmed showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gamal Maged in the 15th minute of the match. Kamal Sabry hit a great freekick 15 minutes into the match. Fareed Ahmed made a fantastic save in the 23rd minute, when Salah el din El-Shater sent off a good shot on target. Barakat Hossam fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 27th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Yehia Fareed having to interfere. Fathy Kordy struck a weak shot in the 33rd minute. Yehia Fareed didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Hurghada. When the match had gone on for 35 minutes, Salah el din El-Shater put it in 3-0 from a short distance just to the right of Fareed Ahmed. 38 minutes into the match, Salah el din El-Shater had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Fareed Ahmed. Hurghada's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Salah el din El-Shater was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-0. Salah el din El-Shater could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 41st minute of the match, but Fareed Ahmed made a huge save. After 45 played minutes Hurghada got a freekick which was hit by Salem Kamal. In the 46th minute of the match Fikry Seif shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Fareed Ahmed showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

After 51 minutes, Salah el din El-Shater mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the ديـرمـواس and the Hurghada players grew even worse after the yellow card. An unexpectedly hard shot by Amgad Ayman in the 67th minute of play forced Hurghada's goalkeeper Fareed Ahmed to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Fareed Ahmed made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Salah el din El-Shater in the 69th minute of play. Fareed Ahmed showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gamal Maged, who was totally free with the ball in the 70th minute. In the 71st minute, Fathy Kordy hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Fareed Ahmed didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Amgad Ayman went, in the 74th minute, to the upper right corner, 5-0 was the resulting score. Fareed Ahmed took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Amgad Ayman, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Hurghada's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
