Gamal Refaat could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 22nd minute of the match, but Yehia Fareed made a huge save. Yehia Fareed made a fantastic save in the 24th minute, when Gamal Refaat sent off a good shot on target. In the 25th minute of the match Power Corruption and Lies got a corner. ديـرمـواس's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Gamal Refaat ran over to the corner to take the kick. Galal Akram thought of kicking away a contribution in front of goal but messed it up so badly that the ball went to the right of an astonished Yehia Fareed, a very annoying self made goal in the 25th minute which led to 1-0. Yassine Kamal fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Yehia Fareed having to interfere. After 33 played minutes ديـرمـواس got a freekick which was hit by Maher Hamada. Deyab Refaat's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 35thth minute, Yehia Fareed skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. 37 minutes into the match, Gamal Maged notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of Power Corruption and Lies's Aino Tawfeek. Aino Tawfeek was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Qasem Salah was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 43rd minute. Power Corruption and Lies's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. 45 minutes into the match, ديـرمـواس's goalkeeper Yehia Fareed had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Gamal Refaat. When Gamal Maged came up free with the goalie in the 46th minute, the ديـرمـواس fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gamal Maged couldn't finish the play. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Gamal Refaat to strike the kick off in the second half. If Salah el din El-Shater had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Salah el din El-Shater came up free with the goalie in the 56th minute, the ديـرمـواس fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Salah el din El-Shater couldn't finish the play. Deyab Refaat scored 2-1 in the 65th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Yehia Fareed, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After having played for 72 minutes, Bakr Taher managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. ديـرمـواس's supporters crossed their fingers, but Bakr Taher was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 79th minute, Yassine Kamal managed to get in a good position for a shot. Power Corruption and Lies's supporters rose to their feet, but Yassine Kamal was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Yehia Fareed breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Yassine Kamal blasted a shot towards the goal in the 85th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Yehia Fareed having to make a save. Fikry Zagloul's late challenge caught a Power Corruption and Lies's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Fikry Zagloul helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, ديـرمـواس's Fikry Zagloul got a free kick in the 86th minute. Gamal Refaat struck a weak shot in the 89th minute. Yehia Fareed didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Power Corruption and Lies. ديـرمـواس's Yehia Fareed played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Deyab Refaat in the 96th minute of play. Power Corruption and Lies's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
