Walid Mubarak charged in rather forcefully in the 3rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Walid Mubarak the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Walid Mubarak hit a great freekick 3 minutes into the match. Gamal Abu Bakr made an important save on a dangerous shot by Mowafak Adel in the 8th minute. Kareem Sameeh took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Refaat Fahed, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Mohammed Batran hit a great freekick 10 minutes into the match. 13 minutes into the match, Ahlawy's goal looked a bit too open when Ghali Sabry came free, but Kareem Sameeh reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to Ahlawy getting a freekick after 14 minutes play. Abdel Masoud Othman hit a great ball. Ramez Abdel Haleem struck a weak shot in the 15th minute. Kareem Sameeh didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Wagid. 17 minutes into the match, Ahlawy's goal looked a bit too open when Walid Mubarak came free, but Kareem Sameeh reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 19thth minute of the game Ghali Sabry who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Ahlawy's Kareem Sameeh was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 20 minutes into the game, Wagid's Walid Mubarak nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Kareem Sameeh made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. The Wagid fans' excitement grew in the 26th match minute when Wagid's Refaat Fahed looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Refaat Fahed recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 32nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When Mohammed Batran was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 33 minutes had been played. After 34 played minutes Ahlawy got a freekick which was hit by Mohammed Batran. Kareem Sameeh took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ghali Sabry, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some careless play in the Ahlawy defense, Shams Ahmed kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Kareem Sameeh. The Ahlawy fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Kareem Sameeh should have stopped the shot. 43 minutes into the match, Refaat Fahed had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Kareem Sameeh. Ahlawy's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Refaat Fahed was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-4. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-4 lead.

Kareem Sameeh took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Shams Ahmed, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When the match had gone on for 55 minutes, Ghali Sabry put it in 0-5 from a short distance just to the right of Kareem Sameeh. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Abdel Masoud Othman during the 62nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 62 played minutes Ahlawy got a freekick which was hit by Abdel Masoud Othman. Kareem Sameeh made a fantastic save in the 64th minute, when Walid Mubarak sent off a good shot on target. 68 minutes into the match, Ahlawy's goal looked a bit too open when Refaat Fahed came free, but Kareem Sameeh reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some careless play in the Ahlawy defense, Walid Mubarak kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Kareem Sameeh. The Ahlawy fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Kareem Sameeh should have stopped the shot. In the 72nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Ahlawy's goalkeeper Kareem Sameeh, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Kareem Sameeh took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Walid Mubarak, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Kareem Sameeh showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Shams Ahmed, who was totally free with the ball in the 75th minute. With a little luck, Ahlawy's Kareem Sameeh got control of the ball when Walid Mubarak tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 82nd match minute, Wagid was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Shams Ahmed to maneuver through the defense. Refaat Fahed received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Kareem Sameeh came out and tried to block the shot, but Refaat Fahed slotted it home off the left post making it 0-8 in the 87th minute. Kareem Sameeh showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Refaat Fahed in the 93rd minute of the match.
