Power Corruption and Lies's Aino Tawfeek played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Shams Hussien in the 33rd minute of play. In the 47th match minute, Power Corruption and Lies was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Abdel Haleem Amgad to maneuver through the defense.

The referee ignored Power Corruption and Lies's protests and gave Qasem Salah a yellow card for diving instead.
