Sayyalah's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. 15 minutes into the game, Fares Shaker was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Sayyalah's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Atf the free kick. Fares Shaker kicked well hit freekick during the 15th minute of the match. Fares Shaker received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 20th minute. Adel Abu Al Dahab tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Sayyalah's Kareem Nizar played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Moataz Darweesh in the 27th minute of play. Kareem Nizar showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ghali Kordy in the 29th minute of the match. Mubarak Mubarak fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 33rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kareem Nizar having to interfere. Kareem Nizar showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ghali Kordy, who was totally free with the ball in the 35th minute. The supporters of Atf booed when Sayyalah was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 40 match minutes in a wonderful position. Zaky Shady didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 46 played minutes Sayyalah got a freekick which was hit by Maged Radwan. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Zaky Shady to make the kick off. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 68 minutes into the game, Basel Yasser threw the ball into play from the sideline. Sayyalah's Zaky Shady quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. In the 73rd minute of the match, Mubarak Mubarak tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Kareem Nizar saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. In the 73rd match minute, Sayyalah was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Zaky Shady to maneuver through the defense. After a rather tough play, Sayyalah's Fares Shaker got a free kick in the 75th minute. Kareem Nizar took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ghali Kordy, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some careless play in the Sayyalah defense, Mubarak Mubarak kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Kareem Nizar. The Sayyalah fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Kareem Nizar should have stopped the shot.
