Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Hany Gaafar started the match with the kick off. With a little luck, Dasuq's Rasheed Mowafak got control of the ball when Galal Nizar tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 5th minute Belal Ramzy shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rasheed Mowafak saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 6th minute, Belal Ramzy left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Qalaha fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. Nasir Hakeem kicked well hit freekick during the 10th minute of the match. Rasheed Mowafak was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 11th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Rabie Samer. If Hany Gaafar had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 13th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Rasheed Mowafak showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nasir Waheed, who was totally free with the ball in the 16th minute. In the 19th play minute Galal Nizar came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Rasheed Mowafak. 2-0. Galal Nizar kicked well hit freekick during the 23rd minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hany Gaafar in the 25th minute of play forced Qalaha's goalkeeper Aaser Fahmy to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Belal Ramzy charged in rather forcefully in the 25th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Belal Ramzy the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 25th match minute, Qalaha was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Belal Ramzy to maneuver through the defense. In the 26th minute of the match Naguib Hisham sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Aaser Fahmy skillfully saved the ball. Qalaha's supporters rose to their feet, but Nasir Waheed was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Rasheed Mowafak breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Galal Nizar to make the kick off. The audience thought a goal was coming when Hany Gaafar got free with Aaser Fahmy in the 51st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Dasuq's Rasheed Mowafak played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Galal Nizar in the 57th minute of play. When Nabil Sameeh fell near the penalty area in the 69th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick.
