The referee ignored Qalaha's protests and gave Aebeed Fahed a yellow card for diving instead. After 4 played minutes Qalaha got a freekick which was hit by Aebeed Fahed. Nagy Zidan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 8th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Aaser Fahmy took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Yasser Sobhy, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of Dayrut booed when Qalaha was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 13 match minutes in a wonderful position. Radwan Fathy didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 16th minute, Shawky Abdou made a precise shot to the right of Aaser Fahmy. Qalaha's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. After a rather tough play, Qalaha's Nasir Waheed got a free kick in the 21st minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Nagy Zidan in the 22nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Aaser Fahmy prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After having played for 26 minutes, Shawky Abdou managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Dayrut's supporters crossed their fingers, but Shawky Abdou was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Shawky Abdou sent away a hard shot on goal in the 31st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Nagy Zidan was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 34th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. After 35 played minutes Qalaha got a freekick which was hit by Nabil Sameeh. Aaser Fahmy made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hosny Abu Mosallam in the 36th minute of play. 37 minutes into the match, Nagy Zidan notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of Qalaha's Aaser Fahmy. Aaser Fahmy was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Yasser Sobhy blasted a shot towards the goal in the 47th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Aaser Fahmy having to make a save. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Galal Nizar made a kick off. Qalaha's Aaser Fahmy played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Shawky Abdou in the 52nd minute of play. Radwan Fathy hit a great freekick 53 minutes into the match. Nagy Zidan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Aaser Fahmy having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nagy Zidan in the 58th minute of play forced Qalaha's goalkeeper Aaser Fahmy to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Shawky Abdou's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Aaser Fahmy read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 59th minute of play. Nabil Sameeh charged in rather forcefully in the 62nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Nabil Sameeh the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Qalaha getting a freekick after 63 minutes play. Nabil Sameeh hit a great ball. If Yasser Sobhy had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 67th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Aaser Fahmy took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nagy Zidan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Monzer Qasem showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Belal Ramzy, who was totally free with the ball in the 71st minute. 76 minutes into the match, Galal Nizar notched a goal, 1-2, to the right of Dayrut's Monzer Qasem. Monzer Qasem was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Yasser Sobhy sent away a hard shot on goal in the 79th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 82 played minutes Dayrut got a freekick which was hit by Belal Seif. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Nagy Zidan in the 87th minute a chance for a shot on goal. In the 90th minute Nagy Zidan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Aaser Fahmy saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Yasser Sobhy in the 92ndth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Aaser Fahmy, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Aaser Fahmy didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Nagy Zidan went, in the 97th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-3 was the resulting score.
