Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Atef Ramez kicked off to start the match. Mazen Gamal made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Zagloul Kamouna in the 4th minute of play. If Atef Ramez had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 7th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Mazen Gamal didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Zagloul Kamouna went, in the 16th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. Sabry Alaa received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 20th minute. Mazen Gamal tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 22 minutes into the match, Shiwa's goalkeeper Raslan Gaafar had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Atef Ramez. A sloppy throw-in by Shams Reda in the 26th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Shiwa's Barakat Saeed. Atef Ramez could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 33rd minute of the match, but Raslan Gaafar made a huge save. Atef Ramezs short, quick shot in the 36thth minute got Raslan Gaafar to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. 47 minutes into the match, Bahnai's goal looked a bit too open when Sabry Alaa came free, but Mazen Gamal reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Sabry Alaa was the one to do the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lateef Mohanad in the 53rd minute of play forced Shiwa's goalkeeper Raslan Gaafar to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Shiwa's zone, Atef Ramez stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Raslan Gaafar came out of the goal and Atef Ramez tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 64th minute Zagloul Kamouna shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mazen Gamal saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Bahnai's Mazen Gamal played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sabry Alaa in the 70th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Atef Ramez in the 72nd minute of play forced Shiwa's goalkeeper Raslan Gaafar to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Gamal Tamer hit a great freekick 81 minutes into the match. After 83 played minutes Shiwa got a freekick which was hit by Mazhar Gomaa. In the 85th minute of the match Gaser Hussien shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Raslan Gaafar showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. 86 minutes into the game, Sabry Alaa was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Shiwa's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Bahnai the free kick. A collision led to Shiwa getting a freekick after 86 minutes play. Sabry Alaa hit a great ball. After 87 played minutes, Bahnai's Gaser Hussien shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Raslan Gaafar came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Bahnai reached it. 91 minutes into the game, Atef Ramez cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Raslan Gaafar was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 95th minute, Atef Ramez ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Raslan Gaafar was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-1. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Bahnai had won after a very even match.
