Barnasht
Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000,
Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Mustafa El-Husany started the match with the kick off. Aaser Fahmy made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bahy Metwaly in the 3rd minute of play. Aaser Fahmy made an important save on a dangerous shot by Bahy Metwaly in the 5th minute. Aaser Fahmy was out of position in the 6 minute of play, and Bahy Metwaly capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Bahy Metwaly really showed his touch with that goal: 1-0. Nassef Ameer took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Belal Ramzy, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Basyouny Ashraf charged in rather forcefully in the 14th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Basyouny Ashraf the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In a very dangerous position, a player in Barnasht fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 13th minute. Penalty! The referee gave Qalaha a penalty, 15 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Rabie Samer, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Barnasht's Nassef Ameer. 1-1. Bahy Metwaly fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 18th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Aaser Fahmy having to interfere. Nassef Ameer showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nasir Waheed in the 27th minute of the match. In the 32nd minute, Bahy Metwaly hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Barnasht's Nassef Ameer played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Galal Nizar in the 36th minute of play. Nassef Ameer showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Belal Ramzy, who was totally free with the ball in the 40th minute. When Barnasht's Bahy Metwaly in the 44th minute got a chance for a shot 44th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Qalaha's goalie prevented a goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mustafa El-Husany in the 45th minute of play forced Qalaha's goalkeeper Aaser Fahmy to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Aaser Fahmy showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bahy Metwaly in the 48th minute of the match. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Galal Nizar made a kick off. Aaser Fahmy came out of the goal in the 52nd minute to try and stop a shot by Barnasht's Mustafa El-Husany. But to his dismay, Mustafa El-Husany quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. In the 57th minute, Qalaha's Belal Ramzy ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Nassef Ameer. Nassef Ameer yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-2. 61 minutes into the match, Bahy Metwaly had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Aaser Fahmy. Qalaha's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Bahy Metwaly was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-2. Belal Ramzy sent away a hard shot on goal in the 65th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 67th minute, Basyouny Ashraf hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 68th minute of the match Rabie Samer shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Nassef Ameer showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Belal Ramzy in the 69th minute of play forced Barnasht's goalkeeper Nassef Ameer to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Bahy Metwaly fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 71st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Aaser Fahmy having to interfere. 73 minutes into the match, Barnasht's Shady Adham sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Aaser Fahmy narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 74th minute Bahy Metwaly shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Aaser Fahmy saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, Barnasht's Mustafa El-Husany got a free kick in the 75th minute. 77 minutes into the game, Fahmy Nabil threw the ball into play from the sideline. Qalaha's Saeed Nagy quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mustafa El-Husany in the 81st minute of play forced Qalaha's goalkeeper Aaser Fahmy to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Maher Hosny during the 87th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Maher Hosny kicked well hit freekick during the 88th minute of the match. Nassef Ameer took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Belal Ramzy, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Aaser Fahmy showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bahy Metwaly in the 94th minute of the match. Qalaha's Aaser Fahmy played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mustafa El-Husany in the 95th minute of play. Barnasht's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
