Qalaha
Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000,
Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Galal Nizar kicked off to start the match. In the 4th minute, Sabry Alaa made a precise shot to the right of Aaser Fahmy. Qalaha's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. When Shiwa's Sabry Alaa in the 13th minute got a chance for a shot 13th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Qalaha's goalie prevented a goal. Aebeed Fahed kicked well hit freekick during the 15th minute of the match. In the 16th minute, Zagloul Kamouna got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Zagloul Kamouna scored 0-3 in the 20th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Aaser Fahmy, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 24 minutes into the match, Qalaha's goal looked a bit too open when Sabry Alaa came free, but Aaser Fahmy reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 26th minute, Sabry Alaa ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Aaser Fahmy was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-4. Galal Nizar in the 30thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Raslan Gaafar, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. If Sabry Alaa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 31st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 32 minutes into the game, Galal Nizar recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Raslan Gaafar. Galal Nizar showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-4. After some careless play in the Shiwa defense, Galal Nizar kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Raslan Gaafar. The Shiwa fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Raslan Gaafar should have stopped the shot. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Belal Ramzy during the 40th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Qalaha's Belal Ramzy got a free kick in the 40th minute. In the 43rd minute Zagloul Kamouna shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Aaser Fahmy saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 45 minutes into the match, Shiwa's goalkeeper Raslan Gaafar had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Belal Ramzy. After the first half Shiwa were leading 2-4. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.
Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Sabry Alaa to make the kick off. 52 minutes into the game, Qalaha's Galal Nizar nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Raslan Gaafar made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-4. In the 58th minute the ball was on its way in behind Qalaha's goalkeeper Aaser Fahmy, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The audience thought a goal was coming when Zagloul Kamouna got free with Aaser Fahmy in the 59th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Raslan Gaafar showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Belal Ramzy, who was totally free with the ball in the 64th minute. Ramy Yehia recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 66th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a rather tough play, Qalaha's Saeed Nagy got a free kick in the 76th minute. In a very dangerous position, a player in Shiwa fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 82nd minute. Penalty! In the 84th minute there was a penalty for Qalaha. Rabie Samer stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Raslan Gaafar. 5-5. Raslan Gaafar took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Belal Ramzy, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Raslan Gaafar showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Belal Ramzy in the 92nd minute of the match. The second half was just like the first, even and exciting. The match ended in a draw.
