The referee showed Hafez Abu Bakr the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Ashmun's Hafez Abu Bakr got a free kick in the 4th minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Fares Maher during the 6th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 6 played minutes Ashmun got a freekick which was hit by Fares Maher. The supporters of Bahnai booed when Ashmun was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 8 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mazen Gamal made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hafez Abu Bakr in the 17th minute of play. In the 19th minute Shams Mahmoud shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mazen Gamal saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 20th minute, Fares Maher made a precise shot to the right of Mazen Gamal. Bahnai's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. Atef Ramez who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 24thth minute tested the skills of Emil Piesciuk when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Ashmun's Emil Piesciuk proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 26th minute of the match, managed to save Ashmun from getting a goal against them. In the 29th match minute, Bahnai was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Kamel Wael to maneuver through the defense. In the 30th minute of the match Elnur Zabitov shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Mazen Gamal showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Mazen Gamal made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Shams Mahmoud in the 33rd minute of play. Mazen Gamal took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Zidan Sallam, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a little luck, Ashmun's Emil Piesciuk got control of the ball when Atef Ramez tried to sneak it across the goal line. 43 minutes into the match, Ashmun's goalkeeper Emil Piesciuk had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Atef Ramez. Ashmun's Emil Piesciuk played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Atef Ramez in the 45th minute of play. The Bahnai players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Ashmun were winning 0-1.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Shams Mahmoud to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 55th minute Shams Mahmoud shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mazen Gamal saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the match clock showed 58 minutes, the score became 1-1 when Atef Ramez sped through Ashmun's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Emil Piesciuk. After 61 minutes, Kamel Wael mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Bahnai and the Ashmun players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 61st match minute, Bahnai was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Kamel Wael to maneuver through the defense. Atef Ramez's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Emil Piesciuk read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 63rd minute of play. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Emil Piesciuk prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Shams Reda blasted a shot towards the goal in the 72nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Emil Piesciuk having to make a save. Emil Piesciuk showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Atef Ramez, who was totally free with the ball in the 73rd minute. Mazen Gamal made an important save on a dangerous shot by Hafez Abu Bakr in the 75th minute. If Lateef Mohanad had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 79th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Emil Piesciuk took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lateef Mohanad, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Mazen Gamal made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Shams Mahmoud in the 86th minute of play. Ashmun's Emil Piesciuk played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Atef Ramez in the 88th minute of play. 91 minutes into the game, Bahnai's Lateef Mohanad nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Emil Piesciuk made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-1. In the 96th minute Atef Ramez shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Emil Piesciuk saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Bahnai's Gamal Tamer in the 98th minute got a chance for a shot 98th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Ashmun's goalie prevented a goal. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Bahnai fully deserved thier win.
