Dayrut's Monzer Qasem proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 4th minute of the match, managed to save Dayrut from getting a goal against them. Hosny Abu Mosallam's late challenge caught a Zamaleks.c's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Hosny Abu Mosallam helped the player get up and apologised. A hard shot by Taher Abdel Haleem from long distance, 6 minutes into the match, got Monzer Qasem's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. After some careless play in the Zamaleks.c defense, Nagy Zidan kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Refaat Yasser. The Zamaleks.c fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Refaat Yasser should have stopped the shot. Nagy Zidan took the ball and in the 12 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Refaat Yasser. Refaat Yasser dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. Ismail Mohammed kicked well hit freekick during the 15th minute of the match. Ismail Mohammed could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 20th minute of the match, but Monzer Qasem made a huge save. Nagy Zidan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 23rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 25th minute Nagy Zidan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Refaat Yasser saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Yasser Sobhy fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 26th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Refaat Yasser having to interfere. Refaat Yasser showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nagy Zidan, who was totally free with the ball in the 27th minute. Refaat Yasser took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nagy Zidan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 32 minutes of play Dayrut's Hosny Abu Mosallam was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. Hosny Abu Mosallam kicked well hit freekick during the 33rd minute of the match. In the 35th minute, Shawky Abdou made a precise shot to the right of Refaat Yasser. Zamaleks.c's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-3. Rateb Yousif fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Refaat Yasser having to interfere. Sobhy Abu Trika kicked well hit freekick during the 41st minute of the match. Yasser Sobhy took the ball and in the 44 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Refaat Yasser. Refaat Yasser dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-4. The Zamaleks.c players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Dayrut were winning 0-4.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Fareed Basyouny to make the kick off. In the 54th minute, Nagy Zidan got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Amador Oliverios sent away a hard shot on goal in the 56th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Shawky Abdou fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 57th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Refaat Yasser having to interfere. After 58 played minutes Zamaleks.c got a freekick which was hit by Sobhy Abu Trika. In the 62nd minute, Shawky Abdou got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 68th match minute, Zamaleks.c was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Taher Abdel Haleem to maneuver through the defense. If Yasser Sobhy had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 69th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Yasser Sobhy sent away a hard shot on goal in the 70th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 73 minutes into the match, Dayrut's Rateb Yousif sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Refaat Yasser narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After a defensive mix-up in Zamaleks.c's zone, Yasser Sobhy stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Refaat Yasser came out of the goal and Yasser Sobhy tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Rateb Yousif recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 82nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Yasser Sobhy sent away a hard shot on goal in the 83rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Shawky Abdou recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 85th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When Rateb Yousif came up free with the goalie in the 90th minute, the Dayrut fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Rateb Yousif couldn't finish the play. After a rather tough play, Dayrut's Belal Seif got a free kick in the 92nd minute. After 92 played minutes, Zamaleks.c's Fareed Basyouny shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Monzer Qasem came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Zamaleks.c reached it. Dayrut's Yasser Sobhy got a good chance for a goal in the 94th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The Zamaleks.c fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Dayrut were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
