Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Atef Ramez started the match with the kick off. Mazen Gamal showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mustafa El-Husany in the 3rd minute of the match. A collision led to Barnasht getting a freekick after 9 minutes play. Bahy Metwaly hit a great ball. 10 minutes into the game, Atef Ramez cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Nassef Ameer was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Nassef Ameer made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lateef Mohanad in the 13th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Bahnai's Shams Reda got a free kick in the 18th minute. A collision led to Barnasht getting a freekick after 22 minutes play. Maher Hosny hit a great ball. 29 minutes into the match, Barnasht's Mustafa El-Husany sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Mazen Gamal narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Mazen Gamal made an important save on a dangerous shot by Bahy Metwaly in the 31st minute. Mustafa El-Husany received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 32nd minute. Mazen Gamal tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Mazen Gamal made an important save on a dangerous shot by Shady Adham in the 34th minute. Nassef Ameer stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Lateef Mohanad's shot from short distance in the 38th minute. Bahy Metwaly took the ball and in the 40 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Mazen Gamal. Mazen Gamal dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. Nassef Ameer showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Atef Ramez in the 45th minute of the match. After 46 played minutes Barnasht got a freekick which was hit by Shady Adham.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Mustafa El-Husany was the one to do the kick off. After some fancy dribbling in the 52nd minute, Atef Ramez managed to get in a good position for a shot. Bahnai's supporters rose to their feet, but Atef Ramez was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Nassef Ameer breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Mustafa El-Husany fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 60th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mazen Gamal having to interfere. Bahy Metwaly recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 61st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Shady Adham fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 70th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mazen Gamal having to interfere. Mustafa El-Husany struck a weak shot in the 73rd minute. Mazen Gamal didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Barnasht. Bahnai's Mazen Gamal played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bahy Metwaly in the 75th minute of play. 82 minutes into the game, Mustafa El-Husany cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-1. Mazen Gamal was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After a rather tough play, Barnasht's Shady Adham got a free kick in the 88th minute. A collision led to Barnasht getting a freekick after 90 minutes play. Maher Hosny hit a great ball. When Mustafa El-Husany came up free with the goalie in the 94th minute, the Barnasht fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Mustafa El-Husany couldn't finish the play. If Bahy Metwaly had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
